I build AI systems that keep human perspectives alive and evolving.
I’m a final-year Ph.D. candidate in the School of Computing at KAIST, advised by Juho Kim. My thesis builds generative user proxies: interactive, data-grounded personas and intents that help teams understand users at scale. Building on this, I now explore how AI agents reshape the way people work together, what forms of proxies can support human-AI collaboration, and what successful collaboration could look like.
I interned at Microsoft Research Cambridge and have led research collaborations with NAVER, Samsung Research, and Hyundai Motor Group. Before joining the world of Human-Computer Interaction, I studied Education at Korea University. Outside of research, you’ll usually find me walking my dog, practicing Ashtanga yoga, or sipping coffee or tea.
